Hall of Champions in downtown Indianapolis. All participants will receive FREE
entry into this beautiful facility
immediately following the event.
So far IREM Chapter 24, with the help of our sponsors and
participants, has raised over $44,000! WOW!

Children under the age 10 are free.
In addition to the free tour of the NCAA Hall of Champions, each entrant will also

Saturday, June 19, 2010:
- Packet PickUp and Registration 6:45 am to 8:15 am
- Start of 5k Run & Walk (this will be a chip timed event) 8:30am
- Rookie Run: 9:15 am.
- Awards Ceremony at the NCAA Hall of Champions 9:40 am
Please Note: Race Number and Packet Pick Up is available on Race Day beginning at
6:45 am inside the NCAA Hall of Champions. We are also planning a Pre-Registration Event for the night prior to the race — check back for details!

scenic course

The 5K course will begin at the NCAA Hall of Champions and follow the beautiful Indianapolis Downtown Canal! Expect at least 1 water station along the way. The course if fairly flat and PERFECT for a family stroll with the kids!

highlights

This is a chip-timed event with plaques awarded and a $250 cash prize for both the men's and women's winner! AND, if the race winner (both male & female) beat the course record (not the RFR record), they will receive an additional $100 bonus! Anyone that doesn't win, but still beats the course record, will receive a $25 bonus!
Plenty of activities and fun for the whole family! There will be a Rookie Run, caricature drawings, prizes and games/activities for the kids. A beautiful scenic path with a family friendly atmosphere. Plus, free admission to the NCAA Hall of Champions with participant bib number.
Ronald McDonald, along with some of the House volunteers, will be on-site during this event.
Make sure you visit with him while you're there.
Don't miss our Post-Event Area that will have pizza, cookies, and water for people to enjoy after the race!

rookie run

Our Rookie Run is great fun for kids 10 and under! Every child will receive a plastic medal and
1st, 2nd and 3rd place participants will receive gift cards! Here are the Rookie Run Categories:
- 2 - 4 years (single lap race - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners)
- 5 - 7 years (double lap race - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners)
- 8 - 10 years (triple lap race - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners)
